Approach Rail

Having done extensive work with the Florida DOT, we have developed a wide variety of guard rail options to protect the approach or add additional protection to your project. Made from the same alloys as our bridges, and designed to withstand the most corrosive environments, our approach rail will provide years of maintenance free protection.

	Picket Rail - Originally designed for the FDOT, our picket rail uses patented technology and is available in 42" and 54" standard heights. Vertical picket rail is a perfect compliment to our Combination bridge rail and meets all FDOT requirements for Index 860 rail.
	Two Line Rail - This 42" aluminum pipe guide rail, also known as FDOT Index 870 pedestrian rail, is perfect for protecting pedestrian traffic from slight drop-offs. Auxiliary Grab rail can easily be added for ADA compliance.
	Three Line Rail - Similar to the Two Line Rail, but at a 54" height, the Three Line Rail provides additional protection to bicycle approach traffic from slight drop-offs.
	Bullet Rail - Our Bullet rail is designed to stand alone or extend the function of existing vehicular barriers to provide additional protection to pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
	Custom Rail - Whether you are looking for something more decorative, have a specific color in mind, or simply want to work with different materials or applications, we can work with you to execute your concept and help you create something truly unique.
	Auxiliary Handrail - A perfect addition to any approach guard rail, this auxiliary grab rail can be mounted between 34" and 38" for ADA accessibility.
